âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸OMG T Friday you never disappoint me with these books. Now you had me in my feelings at the end of this book. Why was Bones like that? I prayed that he got his act together by the end. Makyla was a good girl looking for love. I also felt bad forJustice, what was her and her son to do now? April was so hurt I felt her pain as well. I wanna know what’s gonna happen to Mike and Roni now. Over all great book. Would recommend it to all.
Totally didn't expect what was going to happen in this book and I 'll ed that I feel sorry for Makalya and April and Bones even though Bones set all the shot in motion wish there was more to this story
I've read quite a few books by this Author and I've always enjoyed each one. However this was the first book that threw me off. The storyline was excellent but there were plenty of grammatical errors that made it hard to enjoy. Makyla was working a job she didn't like but she had dreams. While putting up with a bitter boss. She was also dealing with her two hard headed brother's who she wanted to be away from, and Bones who seemed to be caring but heartless. Bones was from the streets and felt like he wasn't supposed to show feelings. Dealing with Makyla was breaking down his barriers. Bones made decisions without thinking about the consequences and that set off a Domino effect which lead to tragic events. Mekhi knew he shouldn't had Mike involved with his street dealings but he didn't care because it was all about money. Mike was trying to be a good guy but also looked up to his big brother. He changed once tragedy stuck because no one taught him about how Karma comes back around.
OMG! This had my full attention-all the twists and turns. The plot was well written. A thug that did fall in love but allowed that love to destroy him in the end. Bones was a character but in the end his judgement was off. Makyla was a girl that deserved happiness. I hated the ending. Makyla and Bones were my favorite. And poor Ms. April never got the experience of her grandchild. I felt so bad for her.This author never disappoints. She's fire with that pen!
I enjoyed being able to read this story beginning to end. I didn't like the end but he it's TRUE lofe of what happens when the web we weave ..Karma is a B

Omg this standalone was so good i didn't expect things to end the way they did. Bones had to pay for all the wrong he has done. Makayla was so innocent.
I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. You talking about a drop your mouth on the floor moment, this book does just that.
