The plot was good and the story entertaining, but the constant repetition of Da and Ya along with repeating "the two astronauts and one cosmonaut" was terribly distracting.Perhaps even worse was getting basic facts wrong that a school kid could look up. Pangea broke up long before the time in question and the dinosaur extinction occurred 66 million years ago so they could not have landed between 75 and 55 million years ago as the dinosaurs would have been long gone post 66 million years. No excuse for getting these basic facts wrong. Look them up!
"When The Crew of The International Space Station Is Forced To Abandon To The Planet Below,They are Mysteriously,"Throwback" Into a Time Where Savage Prehistoric Dinosaurs and Creatures Roam and Terrible Horrors Await. Everyday is a Battle Against Flesh Eating Dinosaurs,Starvation,Disease, and Madness."Will Anyone Survive This Brutal Planet, and One Day Find There Way Back Home. "A Mustread."
A well written book about dinosaurs, when it's getting hard to come up with something new. But you did the job just fine. Very glad I read this book. Can't wait to read more of your books. Tim.
The book overall was good, drug a little in places. But the ending really sucked, what happens to them? What about the aliens?
I could not stop reading. To the spacefarers, it seemed they had been thrown back in time when dinosaurs roamed by the mysterious space cloud. Yet, a bright beam they had seen radiating from Earth while in space gave them hope of returning to their own time. But, where they crash landed was miles and miles from the beam's origin and they have to trek through dangerous territory and predators to get there. The ending was not what I expected and I hope the author is working on a sequel. All in all, this was an exciting read!
I got to read two chapters free while finishing a different authors book. I was entranced with the idea that was presented in those two chapters: the International Space Station travels through an anomaly in space to take readings and EVERYTHING changes! The earth they know is no longer there! While they are circling the changed earth, think VERY early earth, before the continents have split apart, they see a beacon from the ISS on the land mass. Well, we all know they HAVE to go and check it out - after all, Earth as they know it is no longer there so this may be a way to escape! After many chapter of dangers, adapting to their environment (somewhat far-fetched) they arrive...not to add a spoiler to this review - the ending SUCKS!!!! "The End" ?????????? That's it????? I won't read this author again.
Was okay but the main character's inner dialog seemed to get kind of monotonous and pity-partying by the end. The ending was abrupt with no resolution of any kind and no indication if the author intends a continuation in a sequal. If this isn't part of a series then the meaning behind the abrupt ending is just lost on me. If the author intends to continue with the story, then it's a decent beginning. It is well edited which is a refreshing change from many ebook offerings ,these days.
There was plenty of Dino action in this book and the beginning really had me excited. The was a fair amount of character development. There has to be a second book because the ending was just inconclusive. Bummer.
